It has had an additional unit fitted which cost £300 that generates 12 volts to power units such as a radio and lights. The engine has had less than 50 hours of use. It has never been stored in water and is flushed out after every use and dry stored in our garage. The engine is in immaculate condition. It has been regularly serviced on an annual basis by the dealer that it was purchased from. It had a new timing belt fitted at its last service 1 year ago and has had 7 hrs of usage since. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the last examples of the lightest 15hp outboard motor ever produced at just 35 kg which is considerably lighter than all modern 4 stroke equivalents. This weight saving makes a huge difference when man-handling the engine on and off small boats and also improves performance when under way. Condition of the engine is very good (see photos) with some paintwork chips commensurate with age. The motor starts and selects gears smoothly and has an excellent flow of cooling water.
