Mariner 15hp 2 Stroke Outboard Engine Standard (Short) Shaft

This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the last examples of the lightest 15hp outboard motor ever produced at just 35 kg which is considerably lighter than all modern 4 stroke equivalents. This weight saving makes a huge difference when man-handling the engine on and off small boats and also improves performance when under way. Condition of the engine is very good (see photos) with some paintwork chips commensurate with age. The motor starts and selects gears smoothly and has an excellent flow of cooling water.
