Runs and pumps water as it should and changes gears nicely as you would expect with an overhauled gearbox. Engine comes with a 3 month parts and labour warranty. Mariner 15HP, 4 stroke, short shaft, outboard engine. We bought this engine new in February . It has had an additional unit fitted which cost £300 that generates 12 volts to power units such as a radio and lights. The engine has had less than 50 hours of use. It has never been stored in water and is flushed out after every use and dry stored in our garage. The engine is in immaculate condition. It has been regularly serviced on an annual basis by the dealer that it was purchased from. It had a new timing belt fitted at its last service 1 year ago and has had 7 hrs of usage since. This only weighs 25kg and packs a powerful punch for its size. Always been looked after and cared for but there are a couple of cosmetic blemishes and is inline with its age. Originally purchased as a secondary engine for a small Yacht. No longer have the Yacht so surplus to requirements. This is a very reliable engine that starts first time every time. 3.5hp mariner 4 stroke short shaft unused. Images show this engine running last weekend which is the only time I have ever started it as went away with it when got it took down to beach saw loads of rocks poking out of water and so put everything back in car. Threw boat away last year. Bought engine new three years ago so dealer ran it on pre delivery inspection before I collected. To be honest I will be losing a lot on this so will keep if it doesn't sell for asking price. Onboard fuel tank on these and weigh just over 18kg I think. Still in box.
