Tonga β 10 Pa'anga β "Treasure of Hiddensee"Gold (). Weight: 1.24 g Diameter: mm"After floods in and , parts of a treasure from the Viking Age were found on the beach at Neuendorf, on the Baltic island of Hiddensee. In all likelihood, the pieces were manufactured in the tenth century in Jutland. To date, it is unclear whether it was derived from a gold (Viking) ship, or that it is rinsed free from the beach sand. The treasure consisted of a cross-shaped necklace with pendants and four intermediaries. The characteristic main motif shows a bird. This golden treasure is now the most valuable piece in the cultural history museum in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund."See photos to get a better impression. Registered shipping. Read More
