The book fits perfectly in the case"The book, al-Hisn-ul-Haseen, is a collection of authentic du'a (prayers) and ahadith and was written around 790 Hijri, when Damascus was under siege and the people were despairing... Fire surrounded the city, food and water were scarce and the doors of the city were barred shut with the enemy on the outside. In this situation, Allah blessed the ummah by giving the tawfeeq to Imam ibn Jazri to compile this book. Taking refuge in these prayers of the Prophet, the trials of that time were overcome. Up to this day, this valuable collection (an "invincible fortress") provides beneficial prayers for every occasion of a Muslim's life, from birth to death.
