The Mangar Bathing Cushion is a very high quality, comfortable, lightweight and totally portable inflatable bathing cushion, that is incredibly easy to position and use, and is supplied complete with its own battery operated Airflo compressor. Manufactured by Mangar International, a world leader in the production of inflatable moving and handling equipment, and bathing equipment for the elderly, the disabled and for the Emergency services, the Mangar Bathing Cushion has a very clever internal honeycomb structure that makes it very supportive, very hard wearing and very reliable. The bathing cushion has a very easy to use hand held controller and is designed to let the user lower themselves comfortably and gently to the bottom of the bath. Once there a user can choose whether or not to leave a small amount of air in the cushion and use it as a back support, or release all the air to lie right back and bathe as normal. When the user has finished their bath the Mangar Bathing Cushion is simply re-inflated, gently raising the user to a position level with the top off the bath, allowing them to exit the bath with ease. The bathing cushions Airflo compressor is battery operated, making it totally portable, and will not operate if there is not sufficient charge available to both lower and then raise the user, preventing the risk of a user finding themselves stuck in the bath. This seat would be perfect for someone that can easily keep their balance on a chair without arm-rests, but who needs a little help lowering into and rising up from a bath. Bought new for 700 Eur. Will sell for 350 Eur ono. The device fits a standard bath size. It attaches securely to the bottom of the bath with four suction pads. To operate, the user sits on the inflated non-slip air cushion seat in the bath and presses the 'down' button on the waterproof hand control, which can be secured to the side of the bath using a suction pad. The device gradually releases air, bringing the user gently to the bottom of the bath. The lift has a lower back support that helps the user maintain the correct position for reinflation. The seat pocket is colour-defined so the user can check their position before reinflating the cushion. The blower unit which inflates and deflates the lift, is a plug in unit which must be plugged into the mains outside the bathroom for safety reasons. The device comes with a zipped carry bag for easy storage and transportation.  The seat can be sanitised with water based disinfectants. The seat raises to a height of 380mm (15'') and lowers to 1.5mm.
