Suzuki mandolin
Lovely Nagoya Suzuki M30 bowlback mandolin in excellent condition, probably made in the late 's in the style of the typical Calace mandolin. The top is spruce, with a wooden arm rest, and the back is made of flamed maple, with 27 individual ribs. The rosewood fretboard has 27 frets, all in good condition and fully playable. The mandolin has a rosewood compensated bridge. The machine heads work perfectly, and the tuning is true. There is a minor bow in the neck, which has no effect on the sound, which is strong, clear and even all the way up the fretboard, with no buzzes. Apart from one very small, barely noticeable scuff beside the scratchplate, there are no dings, splits or cracks. All parts are original and in full working order. This mandolin is particularly well suited to the classical player.
