Maltese X
I am looking for a very special home for this little boy. He has not had a very good start in life and is only 7 months old. He is from a Rescue so has his own passport and his name is Barney. He is a very happy little boy, who is very pretty. He does however have a disability. Barney was born with both of his rear legs fused. This does not bother him in the slightest and he happily goes over the park each morning on his harness, has no trouble walking, going up steps, etc. He knows no difference so has just adapted. He is exceptionally loving and fussy and will sit with you all day. He is enjoying playing with his toys and LOVES his food - for a small dog he certainly has a big appetite! He sleeps all night with my other dogs, no problem and I would like him to be re homed perhaps with another small female dog, or in the right home even as an only dog if he has lots of human contact. I do not want him to go to a home with all children as he is too tiny - older children would be fine. His previous foster mom had older children who he loved to play with. He has been castrated, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and de flead. I had a Bichon previously with one rear fused leg and he lived to be 12 years old, his leg caused him no problems whatsoever. Barney is still a baby so expecting to do a bit of house training. He is very good and if you take him outside after meals and every couple of hours there is no problem. Remember puppies can be hard work and don't let his disability fool you - he is an activity, happy little boy who likes to play. If you think you can offer him the type of home he needs please contact me. I need his new home to be his forever home - he has been through enough changes in his short life already. Read More
