Male golden pheasants
I have 3 young male golden pheasants which I bred last summer but need to be sold due to clashing with a newly introduced mature male. They're going cheap (literally) due to the fact that none are perfect breeding specimens (with minor faults like crooked toes or the wrong colour legs) although they would be fine as pets or display birds and are very healthy. They lived in my conservatory for a while so are tamer than your average pheasant. Although due to being moved around a lot and occasionally confined to cages a couple have very short tails. They're currently in a large aviary but have to take turns in the flight area to avoid fights with the adult pheasants. Prices average £10 each (one at £12, one at £10 and one at £8, according to their imperfections) but I'd also be happy with £25 for all three. Read More
