Jesse is the most gorgeous 6 month old GSD x Husky pup who was taken in as a stray and we can only guess at how badly he was abused at the hands of a human as when he arrived he spent the first 9 hours hiding in a hedge behind a shed because he was that terrified of people Jesse is a real sweetheart (although going through his 'puppy' stage) He's still wary of new people and even though he actually loves being stroked, his flight instinct is still very strong. Once you have a lead on him and actually get him outside he does walk lovely but does need another dog to follow to help him feel safe. Jesse is currently living in very temporary foster while we got him used to living with humans and he is happily sharing the home with another dog, a cat and 2 children who he adores, however we do feel that due to his nervousness he would be better in a home with children over 13. This lovely boy is going to need a home with a good sized garden he can run around in and an experienced person who has the time, patience and a big enough heart to teach him the basics while showing him that humans are actually kind and loving and would never hurt him. PLEASE CALL OR TEXT - unsure if my emails are being received! Devon is a three year old male German Shepherd. He's unregistered, but has been microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations etc. He's a big healthy dog, but unfortunately needs a new home. He was a stud dog, now looking to re home him to someone with more time for him. I don't have the time to give him all the exercise and attention he needs (or wants) with my other dogs. He'll walk for miles on end, loves his long walks and likes to have a toy to chase. He's good on lead, is a bit strong and will slightly pull if you let him. He's good off lead, he goes for walks down an old drove where we can throw his toy and will come back when called. He is fine with bitches, unsure about small dogs as he's only ever been with my other shepherds. Wouldn't like to put him with a male as he was a stud, so could see him as competition. He's very jumpy and excitable, so unless you're experienced in shepherds and dealing with this, I wouldn't recommend him being in a home with small children as he could knock them. He needs a lot of attention and I just can't give it to him. Loves puddles and will play in them as long as you'd let him, hence some of the pictures! He's still a pup at heart! Heartbreaking decision for me because he is an absolutely gorgeous and lovely boy, so sweet and loving. Please call/text/email for more information.
