Unfortunately I am having to sell my male Indian ringneck. He is 3 year old and not hand tame. When I first got him he was petrified and sat in the corner of his cage on the floor, panting and hissing if we went near the cage. Now I have managed to get him confident enough to let us stand near the cage and put my hand in to feed him, but he still won't allow us to touch him. I have spoken to some ppl about this who advised that he is not suitable as a pet and would be happier in an aviary with other parakeets - especially female ones! I got a new cage a 2 month ago which cost £100. I am asking for £150 but can negotiate price if I know he is going to the best home possible. I am recovering from cancer and am still poorly. I bought him when I was first diagnosed, so this is very hard to let him go. Ad ID:

Jazz is a very good looking bird with lovely feathers, he is semi tame he will take food nicely from your hands even pomegranate seeds which are his favourite. He has been fed on AS30 seed with no added peanuts or sunflower seeds and loves his fruit and veg and the odd chip as a treat now and again! I would say Jazz is semi tame as is can be quite nippy and I just don't have the time to spend with him like I should. He enjoys to be out and puts himself to bed on his own early evening.
