Male African Pygmy hedgehogs(price negotiable for good home)

I have two African Pygmy hedgehog males which I sadly may have to rehome. They do both have names, I will be happy to tell potential new owners if they wish to keep their names but I understand many people may not. They can be rehomed together but will need separate enclosures as they are both males or they can be rehomed individually, a good, knowledgable home is my main priority. Albino is around 2/3 years old, can't be 100% certain as he is a rescue, he's very timid at first and huffy, but not vicious. He has never bitten me and got used to me putting my hands near him for cleaning/feeding etc very quickly, he enjoys coming out for cuddles and absolutely loves his wheel!! His favourite treats are his mealworm larvae and mealworm beetles. Chocolate snowflake is 1 year old in may this year! Very friendly (unless you've just woken him up, but even then, he doesn't take long to realise you mean no harm. The only thing he does in this case is ball up but he still pokes his nose out the whole time!) he absolutely loves coming out and wondering around on the floor in tunnels and playing with cat toys! He loves his mealworms at all stages, and absolutely loves scrambled egg (with no milk). Both of these boys are living in open top pens which I made myself so you would need to have your own enclosure for them as I am not willing to be responsible if anything was to go wrong with the enclosure since I made them myself. I do have one 3foot vivarium and a heat lamp available if needed. This will be a very sad sale so please only contact if you're genuinely interested and have good knowledge of the species! I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding keeping these wonderful animals as pets and can provide separate care sheets for both boys according to their needs (very similar to eachother but both have different favourite foods etc!) BABY MALE AFRICAN PYGMY HEDGEHOG FOR SALE - FREE LOCAL DELIVERY I have an adorable African Pygmy Hedgehog baby ready to go on Sunday 22nd November. He is very tame, loves exploring, has a great appetite and does the cutest things. He been well looked after and has had free run of a very large playpen enclosure in my living room every evening. He gets good quality cat food and mealworms. I clean his current home out 3 times a week and wash the food and water bowl daily, so he is used to being kept clean. He has been protected against mites with Xeno Mite Treatment, this costs around £25 to buy online. (You cannot use regular small animal mite treatment on hedgehogs as it is toxic to them). You cannot use sawdust in the cage, I can offer advice on where to buy suitable bedding from. He comes with a large exercise wheel each (brand new and bought just for him), a piece of fabric with his mother's scent on it to put in his new cage. He will come with care information, cage bedding, fabric, food and the exercise wheel. You just need to have a new home set up ready for him. He is very friendly, nosey and energetic, he has never bitten or aggressively spiked me. I handle him every single day, whether I'm sat on the couch and have him on my lap or if I'm sat on the floor while he climbs onto my legs, he is fine with being played with. He will have her first trip to the vet before he leaves, just to check he is a healthy weight and is definitely ready to go to her new home. I want him to go to a loving pet home (not registered), preferably not to children who will lose interest after a few weeks (sadly, this seems to be the most common reason they are advertised on here). Hedgehogs can be uncomfortable to hold and can cause a reaction (rash on your skin/tingly stinging sensation), they can also cause quite bad odours if used on certain types of bedding. They need to have their nails clipped regularly or they can start to grow back on themselves, your local vet can do this for you. Hedgehogs make lovely interesting pets, but they do require attention and a clean cage. I don't know his actual birthday as I bought him from a garden centre and they didn't know but I do know that he's just over 1 year old. He has problems with his feet where he gets things stuck to them and they become swollen. Because of this he needs daily baths and isn't allowed his wheel until they get better. He's been on anti biotic and anti inflammatory quite a few times and his feet are doing better now but can very easily become swollen again. He's also very grumpy as in his last home he was dropped and handled by a young child so he is grumpy as he's afraid but he's never bitten.
