Malaysian Trumpet Snails are a tropical freshwater species of aquarium snail. Great for fish tank. They remove any leftovers. They don't eat your plants, Most of the time they are burried in the substrate so you dont even see them (they go out when it is dark). Malaysian Trumpet Snails have an added benefit of aerating and stirring the substrate. They will not disturb plant roots but will aerate the aquarium benefiting both plants and fish. These little fellas are not your normal coloured trumpet snails. They are a much more unusual colour. They have an attractive black shell. Like all trumpet snails they are efficient at eating algae and left over food in your aquarium. They are all over the tank all day and night and keep it really clean. They eat most different types of algae but their diet can be supplemented with algae wafers and flake food but in most tanks this is not necessary.
