Sadly we are having to find a new home for our 2yr old male Alaskan malamute. Due to having a son with ill health we are spending a lot of time in hospital and it's not fair on our dog. he is such a character and is so loving and is good with cats and children but not with other dogs. if he meets another dog in the field off his lead he just seems to wants to play, But if he comes across one on a walk he tends to bark growl etc, so we suggest he goes to someone who hasn't got another dog. He is a dog that needs lots of excercize and walks, and he loves to run. We are so upset about having to give him up and we want him to go with someone who will give him all the love and attention he needs. Loving Forever Home needed for 10 month male Malamute in

We are reluctantly having to re-home our beautiful 10 month old red and white Malamute male Chewie, as we just cannot provide him with the time, space and attention he needs to thrive. Although he came to us with some behavioural problems, we have worked hard with him and he is now fully house trained, good with food, sleeps well alone, has good recall (for his breed) off lead and is very responsive to commands. He is friendly and inquisitive but has issues around other dogs. He can be a little timid and fearful and has done well in our busy household but we feel he would be suited to a quieter, more gentle home (no kids or other pets). He needs someone who understands the needs of this breed and can take him on regular runs and daily exercise. He would also make an excellent working dog. We welcome any questions and visits from prospective new owners as we really want him to go to a suitable home. He is micro chipped, neutered and vaccinations all up to date.

Meet Brian. He is a lovely male Alaskan Malamute, he is 5 years old and absolutely loves the attention. He is a big boy so any potential buyers for him would need a big car or transport. PLEASE READ FULL AD BEFORE CONTACTING US: Thorn has been on here before, however we have either not had the right people come forward. We feel that we have tried all options ourselves and really do need to find him a new home. This is our 2 year old male Alaskan Malamute. We are extremely sad to be looking to rehome him as we love him very much but we hope that with the right owner he will be a great forever friend. Thorn is a very challenging dog and must go to an experienced dog owner(s) with no small children or small animals as his breed tends to have a high prey drive. Over the past year Thorn has become more weary of people who his does not know and we can't work out what may have triggered this as he has always been a very friendly dog. When he meets strangers he can appear unsure and dominant. He is especially like this when strangers enter our home. Thorn is a very mouthy boy. He seems to have developed a separation anxiety which begins as soon as we put on our coats.
