Circa early 20th century Art Nouveau wardrobe in good condit

Circa early 20th century Art Nouveau wardrobe in good condition. Not as soft as pine, but pine in appearance, so not sure about timber used. It's in good condition with age related wear and a small amount of paint on the side, which comes off easily. Original Art Nouveau handles and carved detail to front. 6 Hooks inside which I suspect are original. There is a pine dowelling rail, which is recent. There are two nails from the outside which hold it in place. Draw to the bottom, and the top plinth can be removed. Measures 188cm high x 85.5cm wide x 36cm deep. cm high with plinth removed. It's not a large wardrobe so we used it in our hall for 10 year for hat, coat and shoe storage. We haven't found a place for it in our new house so that is why it is here. Thanks Read More

Stunning Inlaid Late Victorian Art Nouveau Mahogany Triple

Elegant inlaid mahogany Art Nouveau armoire. Striking inlay work both on doors and on cornice Divided into three sections. Left and right doors with matching inlay and central panel with full length mirror Original solid brass handles on doors and drawers Original keys and working locks Original clothes hooks in hanging section (right hand side in photos) with removable hanging rail. Pull out flap under hanging section with brass and ceramic knob Original 100% linen fabric lining to the hanging section. (Linen shows signs of age) Three solid mahogany pull out linen press drawers with two single and two full width drawers with solid brass handles to the left hand side The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with striking grain. The piece has scuffs and scratches commensurate with its age and its use as a much loved family piece. French polishing has been scratched off by two door handles. This can be easily fixed by rubbing down the wood and polishing it again. Armoire comes apart in five pieces for easy transportation: cornice, plinth, right hand hanging section, upper drawer unit, lower drawer unit. Doors will also be removed for transportation Approximate dimensions: Height = 2.1m Width = 1.86m Depth = 605cm

Very Pretty Art Nouveau Antique Inlaid Mahogany Mantle Clock

This is a very nice quality antique inlaid Mahogany mantle clock. The clock is from the Art Nouveau period. The clock has very light wear and tear due to it being 100+ years old. The only real fault is a little piece of damage to the side edge(see pic). This has been done many years and doesn't notice unless you know its there. The clock uses an 8 day French striking movement. It strikes the hours and the half hours on a pleasant sounding gong. The clock stands approx. 13.5ins high,8.5ins wide and 5ins deep. The clock is in full working order and looks to have been serviced pretty recently. The clock comes complete with key and is ready to use. The clock can be viewed ticking away in our shop. Read more
