In the beginning of the 70 's the strip appeared for the trees to grow in heaven. But still saw professionals that the aging of the baby boom would inevitably lead to a demand for other strip shapes.Aimed at older readers. Everywhere was excited wanted to that Next Version of the strip. The later problems of many tv, even more video and unlimited games and picture-on-demand were still far enough away. Here from an attempt:Episode 1, actually a trial edition, of the legendary BABARIBA. Monthly theme page (here hunters) with glossy tendencies (although strictly speaking the paper just isn't good enough. Originally a ingestanste folder with real bullet holes, but unfortunately that was too expensive.) I was just adopted in and was allowed to join! -Good thing too because a second number is never materialized. I chose talent show.Sheet: BABARIBA , Oberon, Haarlem, signed. Contains TALENT SHOW: a pre-Franka story in Dupuis-style!Two drawings in pencil on drawing board, revised version of pag 2 showing the difference between T-Ford and A-Ford the course of a year. The sketch of the title page of SECRET , also used as a Jet EPPOcover: loving and cheerful Franka goes from her boat ashore for a romantic picnic.Wind, waves, skirt, boot, non-and cables, everything moves up. The composition as stemmingmaker. That listen closely: for example, on the final drawing Franka, s right hand lifted a little. That makes her movement what wider, but it is especially done to achieve that more place also at her left hand may be signs that the flow splashing foam against her right thigh propels. This is the way her dress of her skirt become logical. From Franka seen comes the flow of rear right, flung the water for the reader in the reading order, from the left. The other arm should now also what's up.That is the reason for such to make sketches, and they then not just to inks, but to use as a base of another sketch. Eventually, Franka slightly smaller and she is even just a little more central for the boat. Just look.Drawing: pencil on drawing board, 49.5 at 43 centimeters.
