Is not very noticeable when using at a gig as it just blends in. Doesn't affect sound quality at all! This is a passive conversion, it was active until the amp stopped working. I still have the amplifier, it was taken to JPF amplification in london who repaired as much as he could, but still needs a new optocoupler. They are available online, but mainly from china. neither the shop or i am prepared to buy electronics from china nor have the effort to fix it. hence im selling it. i have still been using it for a few bigger gigs since it broke - It now just uses an external amplifier. A suitable amp would be an 8 ohm at 500w rms. But ive been using a 250w bass amp and was reaching super loud bass at around 3/10 to 4/10 on the amp.
