Allen & Heath ZED-14 6-Input Mixing Console with USB Port Bought for £299 from Anderson’s Music, Guildford - Only actually used for a few studio sessions. PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple of issues. The stereo channel does not seem to be working for some reason. Also the phantom power button along with a couple of others seem to have sunk somehow. These are probably easy fixes. But even without, the mixer is still very usable as is. No idea how this happened as although we have owned it for about 14 months it has hardly been used really so very odd. Obviously i have taken this into account regarding the price. These seem to sell for around £ second hand, so this is a nice bargain for someone. DuoPre™ Based on the proven pre-amps from the hugely successful PA series, ZED-14 has DuoPre pre-amps, which use a two stage design, with carefully controlled amounts of gain in each stage. When amplifying the signal from the XLR input, the gain range is huge - 69dB of range to be exact - and is very evenly distributed around the gain control, meaning better control of signal level. Most of the gain comes from the first stage, so unwanted noise is kept to a minimum. Line level signals are simply plugged into the second stage of the pre-amp by using the line input jack socket, which has the great advantage of less noise when using the line input and also matching to a higher input impedance. This is a great home studio / on location recording option or as a stand alone mixing desk for live gigs etc. With the FireWire card installed this desk can be used with DAWs like Logic etc just like any other sound card giving an array of I/O options. Mackie Pro FX8 Version 2 Mixing desk (Mint condition)

24 FADER MIXING CONSOLE - Avid Control 24 Mixing Desk

Fully working Pro Tools compatible 24 channel Digital Mixing desk! This mixing console did come from a working studio. The avid Control 24 is a desk that has been designed specifically for use with Protools via an Ethernet interface. The desk is in very good condition. The bottom does have a slight dent and some paint scrapes. Something you'll honestly never see. I have noticed that, on rare occasions the last two displays sometimes flicker (as photographed). This hasn't affected my productivity at all. The desk has recently had a brand new PSU worth £600 installed. The PSU is no more than 6 months old. All 24 motorised faders work perfectly! Mackie's proven track record and reliability available with this 20 channel, compact, integrated, live sound mixing desk. It has an on board 'Emac' Digital Stereo Effects Processor with 16 different effects and a 9 channel graphic equaliser. 4 sub channels and a separate, dedicated 75hz sub woofer send. Selling a spare desk I have as. A Mackie DFX-6 The back plate has been altered to fit in my flight case but restored to as good as original. Has never effected the performance or reliability of this awesome desk. The effects unit is simple but amazing especially if you don't like messing around with too many complicated settings. One of the best features on the effects side is that you can turn the amount of reverb up in one simple action on a dedicated slider.
