I am selling due to this being a spare and now I have bought another apple so now a spare of a spare - I don't need 3 computers. I have changed the ram to the maximum, I currently have split drives for more space but if you want the cd drive back in I can put it back in less than 5mins. It's had new trackpads and batteries over the years everything except for the screen and motherboard which in fact if a good computer they should never be changed and this one hasn't. I have recently put a new battery in about 2months ago. I will put a normal non ssd drive in with all programs, Microsoft office and keep it to yosemite. If you want me to upgrade to latest version of apple software the Microsoft will not work due to apple and Microsoft latest licencing It had a 1tb HD which I am selling externally for £150 or if you want it in the computer the total cost will be £450. If you have your own ssd bring it with you and I can install it in and load to yosemite or latest apple sierra. The mac has always had an external case so no scratches the screen is perfect. It is only being sold because I've been treated to a new ultrabook. The left mouse button is a little loose compared with the right button which isn't unusual but works okay and there is a small nick on the spacebar. There will be the odd superficial mark around the case because it's been used. The laptop has always lived in an office environment whilst plugged in to it's mains charger, so the battery appears to still be in a reasonable condition and holds charge. That said, the laptop's display is HD, bright and glossy so even a brand new battery's life will be somewhat limited. The OEM mains charger is included.
