I am having to rehome my two Chihuahua boys due to changes in our circumstances at home. This decision was not taken lightly and it will be heartbreaking for my boys to leave us. This ad is for my older chi, Mojito. I'm not 100% sure how old Mojito is, I took him in for a distant friend a few years ago. I will be honest and say Mojito needs a loving, patient and understanding new owner. He is such a fun, sassy character, full of love but also full of that famous chihuahua spirit. He loves to nobly parade the windowsill, and likes to think of himself as chief protector. That said, he is the most gorgeous, sweet, loving companion you could meet. I will try to explain him as best i can. If you think you may be the right owner to give Moj the home and attention he needs please get in touch to find out more about him. Pets - He gets along perfectly with my brothers husky, and I think he could live alongside a larger more relaxed dog - but not a small breed. (He and my other male chihuahua are at constant loggerheads) Children - He is generally OK around older children, 7+ but I wouldn't bring him into a family with little ones as irratic and noisy children make him nervous and defensive. Lifestyle - of course in an ideal world he would go to home where his new owners are around most of the time, as no dog likes to be alone. He has been using a crate for a few months now, and seems fine for a few short hours in his bed, which is great for combating his habit of marking indoors. This is where patience comes in, as Moj has a penchant for marking anything plastic / occasionally marking furniture corners. This is always at a minimum with supervision, but he will seize an opportunity if you leave the room. He is house trained so this isn't a lot but after trying various techniques over the years nothing has changed this habit and I doubt anything will. This needs to be taken into consideration for any new potential owners. That said, he happily trots into his crate on command so I just pop him in there when I leave the room and this has reduced the marking to almost nothing. I want to be 100% honest about this little guy. He really is wonderful, but he deserves more than I can give him. Due to my health problems getting worse over the year and as heartbreaking as this is, I know I sadly have to rehome my two girls. They have been used to someone being in a lot so no all day workers and have always slept on my bed. Lacey is 2 1/2yrs, her mom was bichon X maltese and dad full bichon, so is the size of a bichon frise. She loves her long walks, her ball and lots of cuddles next to you on the settee. She likes other dogs for company. She has been raw fed since I had her so what food she has reactions to I can't say but she does have the itches if she eats something outside before I spot it. Coconut oil is added to their food every 3 days which helps also. Both have been spayed and microchipped. They have a 'vac for life' but it is only in the west midlands area of DY5. I would prefer them to stay around the west midlands area so I can visit if possible. They have been used to using a dog door so be prepared for accidents. Lacey is not fond of very small children but is ok with older ones. Filter water and stainless steel bowl has helped with tear staining a lot. I will be asking a lot of questions including age as they are young and homes will be checked, so please don't be offended as we all have in mind what we want for our dogs. This dog was up for sale a few days ago and unfortunately my son and partner are allergic to him, he is the most loving dog I have ever vome across. Greets you at the door with a kiss every time, loves long walks and playing around with anyone he even plays with my toddler. He is very gentle but very stong on his lead so will need a bit more training but knows basic commands. Needs a loving home with a big garden and is brilliant with young kids so is suitable for a family home, I dont know how he gets on with other dogs so would not advise him being a second+ dog.
