Very sad sale. Only miles. G reg. MOT Feb (sailed through its last MOT and has been used regularly since then but only for short journeys so wear and tear minimal). Mechanics always comment on what good condition the box is in for its age. Diesel It is old and slow, but very reliable, starts in the coldest of weather and even when its hasn't been started for ages. 2 horses, forward facing with side unload. Loads of space, easy to tack up inside the lorry, however it is a low ceiling, my welsh cob 15hh fits okay height wise but wouldn't take anything much taller. VW LTt Horsebox

We are selling our beloved mickey. He has about miles on the clock. 2.4 Diesel engine. Power steering and CD player which are both rare in a box of this age. Starts first time everytime, even in the coldest of weather he never let us down. Mickey is an older lorry, so has had some work done. We had the gear linkage replaced so he drives like an absolute dream, he's no formula 1 and he won't win any races but he's reliable and sturdy. Payload is 900kg and that was with driver, fuel and 2 very heavy spare tyres. Partition comes out and there is space for tack in Luton. Super lovely box. Only for sale as I lost my horse and my new one won't fit! Easy to drive. Great first box. Gutted to be parting. £ with full 12 month MOT, will take less without, happy to sell without as he's had the all clear from a mechanic already and may just need a bit of welding doing, we had a quote for £150 to do this but I don't believe it would fail a test because of it. Very easy ramp, operated by one person. Great payload kg, easy carry 3x horses. Compact basic little box, very tidy with small living area, currently fitted with just a storage seat. Ideal hunt box/local shows but a super blank canvas to add a little luxury to the living area. The box is currently a little noisy from rattling partitions etc. but can easily be fixed if preferred. Volkswagen 5 Ton LT50 Horsebox. /J 2.4 Turbo diesel with only miles from new. This is a fantastic horse box in unbelievable condition. It had been dry stored in a barn for many years which explains the low mileage and the bodywork being in such great condition. The cab area is supurb for its age the doors and door steps are rust free and the cab is clean. A CD player has been fitted and there are three seats including the drivers. The engine is a superb 2.4 turbo diesel unit with 5 cylinders so it sounds fantastic and it is very strong with 5 gears. The cab is cut through to the living area and as can be seen from the photographs the living area itself is in lovely clean condition. There is sleeping for 2 above the cab and L shaped seating area with storage under. There are 2 sliding opening windows in the living area and lighting. Speakers from the CD radio are fitted in the living area along with other power points and a portable fridge, though we have never used this.  There is a sink, 2 ring hob and grill, drawers and cupboards. Access to the living area is from a lockable door and folding steps. There is a lockable door between the horse area and the living area. Currently stalled for 2 facing forward, will carry 14.2 ponies, although if your horse is happy to back off, bigger horses could be carried as the overall height is 7ft 2. There is an additional partition if you wanted to carry three small ponies herringbone. There is wardrobe and additional small storage cupboards in the horse area. There are also 2 outside lockable storage compartments ideal for grooming kits, boots etc. The gas bottle for the hob is accessed externally. This lorry has been used most weekends, starts first time every time and is very reliable. The plate / MOT lasts till May next year. We have recently spent £800 on maintaining this lorry to its high standard with a new cam belt and water pump, full service including air and fuel filter. The front and rear brakes have been completely overhauled and a new exhaust fitted. This is a fantastic lorry with a retro look that gets noticed wherever it goes.  On sale £1 start with no reserve. The external measurements are as follows: 529cm long 223cm wide 330cm high The internal height is 222cm Access to the engine is through a large removable panel in the floor situated inside the bench seat. This allows easy access to the engine for any maintenance. New battery just fitted. There is no internal lighting, we use candles and oil lamps as you can see. There is a 12v feed from the battery and a light switch so it wouldn't be too tricky to wire up 12v if you wanted.
