A few years ago I had to say goodbye to my best friend. She was my constant companion until then and I adored her. She was a little Shih Tzu. I have tried a couple of times to start the seach for a new dog but had to stop each time because I found I was not ready....But now I know I am. I live with my husband in a small cottage in Lincoln. He works and I am a stay at home artist.I am in my early 50's We are looking for another Shih Tzu really, but will consider a Shih Tzu cross or maybe even another small breed. Age does not really matter to us,we are quite willing to offer a home to an older dog. We are looking for a girl and would prefer her to be spayed if possible, but it's not the end of the world if she's not.
