This is a genuine offer to rehome a lovely dog into a fabulous rural home in Monmouthshire. If you have a change of circumstance, find your puppy too boisterous then please get in touch. We would love a girlie/boy as a companion to our lovely Dane who recently lost her companion. Lovely rural home offered, to live in with us and become part of our family. I do not work so always around. We have chickens and a dog savvy cat, so temperament is very important, if an older dog they must be very friendly with everyone and have the potential to be adaptable and live in the home with different species. We also have a fab dog paddock for safe off-lead playing and running (see photo) and plenty of footpath walks for variety. We are able to offer a loving family forever home to the right doggy. We live in north devon and would ideally like something faily close to home...but can be a bit flexible. We don't really mind what breed but have 2 small children so needs to be child friendly. It is vital that he/she is house trained and good with other dogs... although we don't have any other animals. We love to be active so plenty of walks and adventures to be had! I only work 2 and half days and week and this is often from home so there is pretty much always someone home. Loving forever home awaits a cocker spaniel that needs a new forever home. I will not buy from a breeder as there are too many dogs needing a new home. I lost my last rescue dog two years ago and we are now ready for a new fur baby. Will be going to the rescue centre in the next week or so if I don't get anything from here. We are looking for a forever life long home for Dylan. He is my daughters puppy she bought him two months ago. During that time he has been a much loved member of our family and this choice to look for a new home for him has not been made lightly and is heart breaking for her (we will talk to you about this). Back to Dylan, considering he has only been here for two months he is a wonder dog. He is five months old and a chocolate roan cocker spaniel. He is dog lovers registered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treatment up to date. He is very healthy and was at the vets last week for worming and a check over. He was weighed and weighs about 8kgs now so growing nicely. He is 99.9% house trained, in the last four weeks he has only had two accidents in the house. He goes to bed about 10pm and then up with us in the morning so he sleeps all the way through and is dry and clean over night. He is a very very clever little dog, so far he has learnt sit, paw, lie down and hunt. Hunt is where we hide treats under cups and he hunts to find which one it's under. He walks nicely on the lead, and is very social with other dogs. He loves to play and learn new things. He is very active as he's a puppy and a spaniel so would be best suited to a family with someone around in the day as I suspect he would get bored if left alone for long periods of time. For someone who has the time he will be absolutely amazing and I think you could teach him so many more tricks. He has his pedigree paper work and vaccination cards. He is amazing with children (we have 4 young ones).
