Fantastic quality Lovett and Rickets General Purpose saddle in Black Size 17” Narrow. Renowned for their comfort and quality of workmanship, this brand of saddle never fails to impress. A very comfortable deep seat saddle providing a secure riding position. Has L&R logo embossed on nearside flap, original fob, and buttons. The saddle is a Narrow (Stamped) fitting. This is a beautiful saddle which would not look out of place in the show ring. Measurements: 10"D ring to D ring, 5" in the entrance to the gullet, where the saddle sits either side of the withers. Stirrup bar to end of saddle flap is 14". Would be ideal for many breeds but would also suit a Thoroughbred and cross type. I’ve used it for a Welsh Part Bred a cob cross and a Thoroughbred cross. Condition: All girth strap stitching is sound as is the saddle throughout and there is no damage to the saddle tree. The saddle is in good condition. The girth guards, which are original to the saddle are stamped and embossed L&R17"N. The flocking is even and level. All stitching and leatherwork is good and serviceable. The saddle has some minor insignificant scuffs - not perfect as it’s a used saddle, but I'd be happy if I bought this saddle. I do not accept returns, so be sure before you buy I’ve priced it so it can be sold easily at the same price or higher... Thank you

This saddle has been used as a show saddle. I regularly do tack and turnout classes so it has been looked after very well. Cleaned after each use and stored in a saddle bag. Only selling as horse retired from showing. It is classed as an all purpose dressage so is slightly more straight cut than a general purpose saddle.

Beautiful, English made dressage saddle. Black. 17" medium/ wide saddle. Deep seat and incredibly comfortable- easy to sit to. In excellent condition and very light use only. This is a lovely Lovett and ricketts event saddle. The saddle doesn't have have big knee rolls but does support you in the saddle. I have used this saddle for the past two years competing show jumping and xc with my horse, and have never had any problems. The saddle is stamped 94, but has been well cared for over those years with strong girth straps, and no damage to the stitching. There is general cosmetic damage which would be expected for a saddle of this age, such as stirrup marks, scratches to the front and a mark on the back (pictured). The saddle is smart, in good working order, tree is sound (checked yesterday, when I bought a new saddle) only selling as wanted something with more support for bigger xc fences, and this was not quite fitting my boy anymore. Willing to accept sensible offers, and anyone local is welcome to have a look. Free collection for pick ups, I can look into courier for delivery at buyers expense.
