Lovely wooden floor lamp (no bulb or shade)

I bought this for £80 second hand and thought I would get round to getting somebody who knew electrics to make sure it was sound and shorten the wire at the top (see photo). If you have more time than me to get that sorted this would be an absolutely beautiful lamp. I am moving house and unfortunately have to face facts that I am not going to be able to fix it. Wooden floor lamp with leather shade

Auction for a wooden floor lamp with a brown leather shade. The lamp is in excellent condition and was purchased for £500 from Nash Interiors. The design is really unusual and I am only selling as I have changed my living room colours. The wooden base has a hole design along each four sides with a silver pole running through the middle. The shade is a large tapered square shade made of brown chocolate leather with a white criss cross stitch around the edging. Overall height of the lamp including the shade 154 cm The wooden base measures 116cm height x 15cm width. The shade is 31cm height x 32cm width at the top and 45cm width at the bottom Comes with a 175cm cable and a push button switch on the cable. The design of the base has couple of cracks on the wood, we purchased it like this and its part of the design but just wanted to highlight as I dont want the buyer to think it is damaged.
