This Rosella was purchased from a pet shop as a male but since placing the advert someone has emailed and told us it is female.The shop we got it from sold puppies and had picked up the yapping from them lol, It is not a noisy bird, when it wants one of his favorite chillies will let you know with the yap, it is 7 months old and just starting to get used to people talking to him. He has plenty toys which he loves to play with, food, feeding bowls, ladder, water feeder everything ready to go. Baby Cockatiel with cage toys and food! in Saltash

Baby cockatiel, large cage filled with a variety of perches, lots of toys, bag of food and dishes. He is tame, happily 'steps up' to hand on command, will happily sit on shoulder or head. Still unsure of having tickles but is gaining more trust every day. He is only in his cage overnight, during the day we open the cage so he has free flying area of the living room. He is use to this, so it is necessary he finds a forever home with someone where he will be out every day or in an aviary. He whistles and hasnt started to talk yet. Only selling as despite constantly reminding family members to keep doors closed at all times, it is forgotten alot and our cat has almost had him twice. Worried he wont be so lucky next time so feel rehoming him would be best. He loves a bath once a week and loves sweetcorn, peas, millet and pinching cups of tea if he can get chance. Also the pet shop advised me he is a male, but i dont think they can be 100% until hes older or with a DNA test so there is chance he is a female. Very sad sale of my pet Cinderella she has been the best pet anyone could have asked for. I am selling her due to lack of time. This little girl has been handled a lot and is very calm and relaxed to catch and pick up. She is very clean and has learnt to do all her droppings on one side of her cage. She is a fantastic pet for children as she is so so calm. My decision to sell her has not been easy as I have had many guinea pigs but she is so different. She is good around dogs and children.
