14.2hh Pure Bred Connemara Mare

Monroe Beauty Absolutely stunning true to type 14.2hh 5yr old Connemara mare by Kippure Alkatraz. Muffin has beautiful athletic paces and a bold scopey jump, she has true to type conformation and a beautiful little head. Muffin has been broken and produced slowly over time, she is now nicely established in her walk and trot, she has a fabulous powerful canter but this still requires a little more work on the flat. Round a course of fences Muffin is brave and bold, she has a good technique over a fence which ensures that she would excel as a working hunter pony. We have also jumped Muffin over cross country fences, she happily jumps logs, barrels, tyres, hedges and goes through water. Out hacking Muffin will go alone or in company and first or last when in a group. She is stabled on a working farm so she isn't phased by tractors, lorries, buses, bikes and she stands at traffic lights/ junctions on the road. On an open field she will canter in a group without getting strong or silly, she will pull up easily and then walk after a gallop without jogging home. In my opinion Muffin is good enough to go to the top in county level workers with some more work, I would love to see her excel in this area. Alternatively she is happy enough to just go for a quiet hack once a week. She will suit a number of different riders although I wouldn't choose for her to go to a complete novice as I think she has a lot to offer. Very handsome 13.2hh Connemara gelding 5 years old, fab breeding (sire is ambra jacaranda) who was at Olympia last year. Lovely movement, great to handle, my 9 year old daughter handles him daily. Peanut is quiet in stable, bare foot, fab to load and travel, will stand and let tractors with trailers attached pass him no problem, he is more a second pony thou due to still being green and does tend to spook at the odd silly thing, which with the right jockey and, I feel, within a few months of seeing more he will settle, he just seems to lack confidence a little, so needs a competent rider, which unfortunately my daughter isn't, does get itchy in summer which is managed with rug and cream once a week, we will be very sad to see him go as he is the sweetest Pony, and loves children, he will continue to be schooled on and the more he does the price will increase, as he is £850 or £ with tack and rugs (lovely quality saddle)

Lovely 7 year old 14.2" Connemara for sale

Obi is looking for a new home He is a 7 year old unregistered Connemara gelding I have owned obi for nearly 4 years, I brought him on slowly, competed at low level dressage, sponsored rides and training sessions. 2 years ago he was diagnosed with juvinelle hock arthritis, he was treated and then I fell pregnant so I turned him away for 18 months. Since returning to work, he has shown no signs of his hock arthritis; and at the time of diagnosis, the vets were confident they would fuse with time. He is now in hacking work, which I am building gradually. He hacks alone and in company, and is excellent with all traffic, except motorbikes that he is a little worried about. He is great to handle on the ground, loves fuss and attention! He is up to date with worming, farrier, jabs, teeth and physio.
