Is perfect for somebody looking for a confidence giving light hack. He is 16 years and 15hh. Been ridden in woods, on beach & charity rides. Good in all traffic and non spooky. Good with the farrier. Summer Project 16.1hh dark bay TB gelding in Cottingham

Kody is sadly for sale due to rider having lost confidence after having a child. Kody is 8 yrs but is very green and low mileage. I have owned him for 5 yrs and making the decision to find him a new home has been difficult but he is simply wasted in his current home. Kody has trained but never raced. He is very charasmatic and is great with kids. No stable vices and good to show/clip/load and with dentist. Kody has proven to be a quick learner in the school and has become more level and balanced in all 3 paces and proven he can work in a nice outline but needs bringing back into work. Kody seems to enjoy jumping and has shown to have good scope but again he is very green. Previously Kody has would happily go out alone but has only been hacked out in company for the last 3 years and therefore time would need to be spent working on building his confidence on his own again. He is Good in traffic and around heavy farm machinery. He is a TB and very occasionally can be sharp and can put in some bucks (never bucked whilst out but can have a silly spook) never reared or bolted. Kody is sound and has not had any bone or tendon injuries but has had a few general field knocks. He is sold with a full wardrobe. Absolutely gorgeous, dark bay 4yrs Irish bred gelding. Bought to bring on to do unaffiliated dressage but it is obvious he is happier jumping and hacking out. He is bombproof on his own or with company out on the roads, buses wagons flying plastic bags, you name it he just carries on. He is only 4 so still has lots to learn so not a complete novice ride although he has no stable vices, he stands still to be mounted never bucks rears or takes off, he is snaffle mouthed at all times going nicely out and about in walk and trot but his canter still needs work. He has no vices and enjoys human company would probably enjoy natural horsemanship. I don’t enjoy jumping preferring dressage so unfortunately I have decided to sell him. He hasn’t got a nasty bone in him the worst thing I can think of about him is he needs quite a bit of leg when being ridden though this should improve as he gets older.
