Room available in lovely shared house, Hi **Re-advertising due to time wasters!!!**I have a room in my shared house, which will be available around the 7th September. This room is a fairly small double (it does fit a standard double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and also has some shelves built in) as it's a small double, there can be some negotiation on the room price for the right person. The house is a large, ex care home and because of it's size there are a number of house mates, sharing with you would be 4 guys and 3 girls, we're all professionals and most of us are in our mid-twenties we all work in various sectors in Brighton and Hove. The house has a large kitchen, lounge, dining room (where in fact we hang our clothes in the winter!) two bathrooms and a separate toilet, the property is surrounded by a garden which is 3/4's of an acre and we have a 'roof terrace' (It's a flat roof but gets the sun!). There is storage for bikes in the conservatory and there's no paying to park in our area - there is a drive and possibly a space on it however, it's not guaranteed at this point in time. The room price is inclusive of all bills. The house is lived in, we all work and therefore, it's not and never will be immaculate (this is not a house for a clean freak I'm afraid!) however, it's clean as we have a cleaner in once a week and homely. Some of us are smokers (three) and we do smoke in the house although it's a rarity in communal areas and generally kept in our own rooms. This room will not come furnished although due to renting for nearly four years I do have some furniture which could be utilised. I can't take students or anyone on benefits I'm afraid and due to the location I also can't take cats or dogs (although weekend visitors are always welcome!) whilst I'd love to - the house is on a main road and it would be too awful if anything happened, we have two lizards in the lounge though so, little pets would be fine! Please google or check the location before contacting me, it's MILE OAK and closer to Fishersgate station than Portslade station, the number one bus stop is 3 minutes away. Any questions, please do get in touch - I imagine viewings will take place week beginning 10th August although depending on the current tenant moving out, I could possibly do viewings this Sunday 9th August.
