It is from the second half of the 19th century, and it has a white marble top, frieze draw, fall front desk (with original leather top)enclosing four pigeon holes and six short draws. Underneath there is another pair of cupboard doors enclosing a full width shelf. stunning French hand carved wardrobe. It has 5 doors and beautiful carving throughout the wardrobe Its in a strong cream/yellowy colour This wardrobe is not new, it's 25 years old and was shipped from abroad. The carvings and every piece is solid but not sure of the wood. It's very heavy, every piece especially the wardrobe parts. There are various scratches and chips to the paint on the wardrobe but nothing is broken. All carvings are intact. Once assembled everything looks great and adds to the shabby chic look of being distressed. Abit of TLC would make it look amazing and this kind of quality is not seen often. It was very expensive when new Just not wanting people buying and expecting new. The wardrobe has been completely dismantled. But the top and bottom of the wardrobe are in one piece and very long in size. There are loads of pieces to the wardrobes as its that large.
