Shortly after 14th July , having publicly opposed the ‘doublement du tiers’, he became part of those designated as enemies of the motherland by the revolutionary bands of the Palais-Royal.The National Convention issuedan arrest warrant against him on April that was executed the next day, and he was brought to Marseilles with other members of the House of Bourbon. Arrived at destination on 24th April, he was incarcerated at Fort Saint-Jean. He was released on 25th June of the following year after many petitions addressed to the Convention. Read More
