Beautiful 2yr old male malamute in Frome

Sadly we are having to find a new home for our 2yr old male Alaskan malamute. Due to having a son with ill health we are spending a lot of time in hospital and it's not fair on our dog. he is such a character and is so loving and is good with cats and children but not with other dogs. if he meets another dog in the field off his lead he just seems to wants to play, But if he comes across one on a walk he tends to bark growl etc, so we suggest he goes to someone who hasn't got another dog. He is a dog that needs lots of excercize and walks, and he loves to run. We are so upset about having to give him up and we want him to go with someone who will give him all the love and attention he needs. Buddy is a two year old springer who is currently a therapy dog to a 14 year old child with autism. However Buddy has proven to be unsuitable for a pet home and is in desperate need of a job! He is highly sensitive, perceptive and responsive and fairly high energy. We think he would make a superb dog for someone for agility or just an active household who enjoy training and walking or even just a home with plenty of land or a farm. Buddy lives with other dogs, cats and rabbits but is somewhat unpredictable due to his need for a less stressful environment. Therefore we would love to find him a home with adults only and maybe to be the only dog. Buddy is a typical springer who obsesses over stones which he brings back and drops at your feet over and over. He is food possessive and shouldn't be left to eat with other dogs.
