I have a barraband parakeet for sale. we rescued him a while ago due to neglect and kept in a budgie cage! I'm looking for a permanent home for him as he deserves the best. It would be ideal if he were in an aviary with other birds so he can be free but having him here with me I do believe he'd make a great pet with time and patience as he isn't tame. He would need a rather large/wide cage and a friend to keep him company as he gets very loud and wants lots of attention. He will also need exercise so time out of the cage also. He loves showers, pomegranate, millet sprays and bead toys. As much as I want to keep him i can't as I'm allergic.
