Brutus - looking for him. I am trying to find a horse / pony who was sold, named as Brutus at the time - around September About hh at the time. Sold by Terena Tyhurst based in Austwick, North Yorkshire. I wanted to buy him but I had no way to get up north to get him and id only just lost my mare so was reticient to jump in at the time. Bobby is easy to load, quiet and calm on busy main roads, open fields and hacks alone or in company. He has been on many outings and fun rides to which he has been very settled and calm throughout. Would make an ideal mum and daughter share and perfect for a child who has just come off lead rein or perhaps lacks in confidence. Bobby jumps small fences and has also shown interest in gymkhana games. He never seems phased by anything, just a genuine pony who loves to please. Bobby was bought as a companion and the plan was to train him for mounted games however he is far too calm and it would be a shame to spoil that. A gorgeous 15hh sports horse x cob gelding. I've owned him since he was 2 1/2 and is now 7. He's great to hack, school, good with traffic also. He has been on fun rides, to shows both in hand and ridden. He is capable of turning his hoof to most situations and will look to his rider for reassurance if he's not too sure. Never rears, may have the odd little excited buck, but this boy has no malice at all. He has been learning to jump and with the right rider he will get there. For sale through no fault of his own is my 14hh cob x gelding. I bought bobby as a yearling and he is now 8 years old. He has been produced at home but sadly through lack of time and interest has been turned away for the last 12 months. He is to be sold from the field so will make a fantastic project. Bobby when left natural presents as a brilliant native breed. Through more recent years he has been clipped and hogged (he is currently growing out his hog and wearing his winter woollies). He is a nice quick little pony with a nice little pop who will do most of his work off voice commands alone. He is not a novice ride as he can be a bit strong but would make a fantastic pony for a confident rider. He hasn't done a lot in terms of showing as has been predominantly used as a happy hack. He is a good low mileage project. He is good to shoe, clip, load etc although he does prefer to travel in company. He has hacked alone in the past but his confidence will need bringing on as he can still be rather green. He will happily live out all year round or be stabled, and is a good doer so is nice and cheap to keep. He doesn't need rugging and can go barefoot depending on work load. Sad Sale 15hh Cob x Hackney Gelding

Due to personal circumstances im selling my 15hh cob x hackney gelding. Bobby is 9 years old and is ride or drive, a lovely horse. he has been out of work for the past year until just recently when he has been brought back into work and as such is in need of some work and being sold as a project. he is used to heavy traffic, good with farrier and has just been wormed. currently barefoot and just had his feet trimed. Bertie is our gorgeous mother daughter share cob gelding who we have owned for 2 years. He is currently in work 4-5 days per week schooling, hacking and natural horsemanship games/sessions however my daughter is not doing as much as hoped and I'm finding it difficult to keep up the work I think Bertie needs to bring him on. Bertie is kept at Southview yard just outside Wellingborough. It has miles of off road hacking including a nice long strip to gallop up, and a flood lit ménage. There are lots of people to hack with and the potential to join the yard parelli group. I am looking for someone who wants to work with Bertie at least 2 days per week, who is no more than 11.5 stone in weight, and who is happy to ride in a treeless saddle. You will also need rider insurance please, which I will check. Payment to made monthly in advance. We can agree set days or I can be totally flexible depending on what you want to do. Bertie can occasionally spook when out hacking, particularly if alone, although he tends to jump to the side or forward and comes back to listen pretty quickly. However, he can nap if you try a route he's not so familiar with and therefore needs firm direction from his rider. When schooling he will try to get away with minimum effort as he's pretty laid back and chilled out. However, he can move beautifully and be relaxed and forward if you are firm but sensitive with him. I wouldn't say he's a born jumper so if jumping is your thing you will need to work at it to develop him with this. He's had both my kids and my kids' novice friends on him and I am happy to have my 11 year old daughter hack him out around the open fields with me walking/running beside.
