FOR SALE 16.1 Dutch Warmblood Gelding 9 years old. Snaffle mouthed at all times. Hacks out beautifully, will go first or last and stops without any hassle. Rides through sheep no problem. We are on a busy yard with large machinery and he isn’t bothered at all. He can be impatient when tacking up put never dangerous or nasty, just likes scraping his feet not bargy at all. He likes to pull faces but nothing more than that. He can show signs of aggressiveness but only if he is given treats so we don't give him anything. He dislikes people in his Stable and again does pull faces but having said that, we can skip him out and fill up water buckets without any problems. I just ensure Haynets are in before he goes in. He always backs up when I put his food in. He takes his confidence from his rider and does need someone who is quiet but confident to push him on. He schools really nicely but can be lazy when he gets tired hence requiring a quiet but determind rider. Working securely to Prelim/Elementary level. He has seen a wide range of fillers and coloured poles with us and has jumped water trays etc without any worries. He has never stopped at a fence and does give his rider confidence in this respect. Currently jumping 2ft 6 - 2ft 9 with plenty of scope to go higher. He has never got strong or silly when jumping or hacking. He is a horse that likes his routine. Currently in a large herd of geldings and stabled at night but is happy to be on individual turnout. He is a good doer and doesn’t take very much feeding. I am looking for a horse to buy. I have loaned in the past but am now looking for my perfect partner in crime. I have grazing available from the end of August. Ideally I am looking for: - Height: 15hh - 16.3hh - Age: 6 - 9 - Breed: Not too fussed as long as can live out 24/7 - Temperament: Chilled on the ground.
