This is a heartbreaking sale. Blade is around hh. He is 5 years old. Vet said he is a dales x. I have owned this little man for 4 years now and he is an absoulutely lovely pony! Hes never bucked or reared. He is broken in to ride would make an ideal mother daughter share. Has popped a few small jumps a long while ago now. He used to be very very laid back to the point it would tire you out to just make him trot! Good in traffic etc I have to make this sale as i now have a young baby and no longer have the time he needs and he is being wasted. He had been out of work for 9 months (odd rides on him from friends whilst i was pregnant) But recently brought back in with no problems at all, the only thing thats changed since i last rode is he seems to have picked up alot with the lazyness and seems to be alot more forward. Lets you on board with no saddle. Would stand all day to be groomed and bathed! Lots of feather. Very sweet natured. Ok with farrier once he gets to know them. Lives with mares and geldings always bottom of the pack. He also lives out 24/7 on grass and hay through the winter. Most of the winter unrugged as he is VERY hairy when the cold weather is here. Never been sick or sorry! Picks all 4 feet up never kicked! Hes not fond of hacking out alone but this could be worked on, he will go alone with a person walking with him. He will need a bit of work in the school. Nothing really fazes him. Will hack out in any company preferes to be behind. I cannot tell you how sweet this little man is. Everyone loves him! Lucky is a forward but safe ride, he hacks alone or in company and is 110% in all heavy traffic! He has jumped 1m at home with a 13 year girl, He's a little green in the school but walks, trots & canters and pops a jump and loves his jumping! He is brilliant in open spaces will not bolt off or anything like that very light in ur hand too! I took him xc for the first time the other day and he loved every minute of it....didn't refuse and happily went through the water, He loads in a trailer/lorry straight away, good with the farrier, dentist etc! He loves to jump and can take a novice round cross poles or a more experienced rider round a full course. My daughter has jumped him round courses of cm. He could jump higher. They have jumped single fences of 1 meter at home. He is happy to please and is very good at correcting rider errors. He schools very easily and would be very good at dressage but this didn't interest my daughter. He is a gentleman inside and outside of the stable. Good with the dentist, vet and farrier. Had is back and teeth done in March. His only vice is he doesn't like clippers and would need sedating by the vet if clipped. He could take someone very far. He's 13,1 poss 2 & 3 in April, he's ready to do a job & unfortunatly I don't have the time to break this little gelding in.
