Charlie is for rehoming due to not getting along with our older cat. He would be better suited to a home with no other animals, where he can have all the love and attention he needs. Adult male, neutered, long haired ginger cat for rehoming

This is Bailey, he is just over 4 years old. He is long haired, large and very affectionate. I took him in as a foster cat from an abusive situation a couple of months ago, and although he is now in very good health, he is just not getting on with my other two cats. He previous home saw him over fed, but also having to fight for food and affection so he still thinks he has to do this. He is VERY affectionate, loving, vocal and loves being groomed, and will be someone's best friend, but I feel would get on better as the only cat in the house, or with one other dominant cat as he will submit if the cat stands their ground. I believe he is half mainecoon, so weighs around 6.5kg and is very chatty. He also behaves more like a dog:) but is very much an outdoor cat. He also gets on ok with my 2 and a half year old niece. I would like to find him a forever home where he gets lots of love and attention, and preferably without too many other cats. Does this sound like something you can offer? Due to the relationship between my cat and dog breaking down we're looking to rehome the cat. The dog is elderly with health problems so would be very difficult to rehome. The cat is a female 4 year old rag doll cross who has been vaccinated and has vaccines for life at white cross vets so you've no yearly cost for jabs. She is an indoor cat who is timid but friendly once confident. She loves my husband and regularly lays on his lap. She is neutered and clean with her litter box. She is also good with her scratching posts and has never damaged any furniture. She is a housecat by her own choosing but she will have a wander into the garden if the door is left open. She has had regular check ups and flea/worming and is in perfect health. She'd make a perfect companion and loves attention. Her ideal home would be somebody who is home a lot without young children.
