LARGE ART DECO CHIMING MANTLE CLOCK in Sherborne

Very fine early 's Art Deco Chiming clock of generous proportions with chrome bezel and propellor (English spelling!) hands, and Westminster chimes. It is keeping time and chiming the quarters as it should, striking the hours correctly on 4 chime rods. There is a chime/silent lever but if operated tends to disrupt the chime/strike sequence. This can be corrected with a lever on the movement within the clock. It is likely to get upset during transit if posted. The case is in good condition, though there is one filled worm hole on the top rear left side. one on the back door and a couple on the back, not thought to be live. A service in the future may be required, though it is has been oiled and set up and currently running fine. Dimensions: L 35cm x W 24cm x D 17cm. Base is 33cm x 15cm. Bezel is 15cm. Cash on collection welcome. Local delivery/rendezvous within 30 miles of DT9 postcode.
