Loch Ard

5th September ​ Loch Ard is one of the smallest fresh water Lochs in Scotland. It is situated in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park near Aberfoyle, Stirlingshire. The Loch is approximately 4 kilometres long and 2 kilometres wide, Its sheltered location means it is ideal for Open Water Swimming. This event will include a 1k, 2k, 3k, 5k, 10k and 12.5k swim. There will be a 1k, 2k & a 4.16km loop on the day of the swim. Changing tents will be available at the registration area, additional toilet facilites will also be made available this year. Loch Venechar Swim Event

27th June Loch Venechar is a fresh water Loch set in the heart of the Trossachs in Loch Lomond. The Loch is 3.7 miles long with its deepest point being 33 meters. The event will be swam from the slip way off the side of Loch Venachar Sailing Club. Toilet & changing facilities will be available within sailing club. This event will include 1k, 2k, 3k and 5k swims. There will be a 1km loop on the day of the swim.

Mooring for Sale - Loch Long

Located near adjacent to Seabank B&B, Arrochar. Co-ordinates (system WGS84) N56o ' W004o ' Professionally rigged and installed mooring by Neil Cunningham of Toward Moorings. Mooring depth MLWS 11 metre Built and Laid August Built to suit 2 tonne boat. Based on a train wheel of around 400kg. Can be upgraded to suit heavier displacement boat by the moorings contractor if required. Comprising: Heavy thrash chain, riser chain, welded shackles. Nylon multiplait rope, plastic protective sheathing, spliced eye for mooring cleat. Mooring and pickup buoy. This mooring is presently not registered so no fees are paid. However a planning application by the local community council has just been submitted to build a floating pontoon close by to meet the increasing popularity of boats on Loch Long. I envisage the area becoming a sought after mooring area when that goes ahead. This is a new development I have only just been made aware of as the planning application was submitted on the 5th August. Any interested purchaser of this mooring would now be wise to consider registration with Crown Agents. The local Crown Agent Marine Officer Colin Brown has assured me such an application would be successful. Installation cost currently £800, for sale for £500 ono. DFS Grand Loch Leven suite

We have a beautiful Loch levan suite from DFS. We are only selling them as we have moved and the living room is not big enough. They are still under warranty. Have been cleaned by insurance company. The feet have a few chips on wood but only from moving. We paid full price for each suite in which they are still selling on DFS.
