I'm sending this advert out for interest purposes only (for now)... please read below: Myself and my partner have rescued a young Husky mix that requires some one-on-one attention during the day while we are at work. My partner, who was working from home at the time we got him, is due to begin working at an office at the start of December. We have discussed all options, including doggy daycares & dog walkers; ideally we would like him to be with someone for most of the day while we are at work. We're looking for a local dog lover who is available during the daytime to care for him, and of course someone who would benefit from this in return by having some company and a temporary furry friend, plus lots of wet kisses! Our ideal person would live local to us and be able to care for him from their own home. They must either have a garden or be able to walk him during the day to stretch his legs - one walk during the day time would be fine as he is already walked in the morning and evenings. We would be comfortable if you had older, mature children in your home while he was there. But as he's still quite mouthy when he plays and a little jumpy, any young children is a definite no. Myself or my partner would be able to drop him off with you in the morning (any time between 7am and 9:30am) and then collect him once we finish work in the evenings (around 5pm dependant on traffic), so we would require someone who is around most of the day and is quite flexible with their time. Not every weekday is essential, but we would be greatly appreciative of someone who could care for our little fur baby Mon - Fri daytime for the foreseeable future. We would provide you with everything he needs, including food/water bowls, treats, lead, toys, bedding, & food so their would be no expense at your own cost. It would be lovely to offer him a stable routine where he can see the person on weekdays without being anxious or distressed that we're not about.
