Dufour T7 22ft Lifting Keel, Centre Cockpit Sailing Cruiser The T7 is a very special boat, at just under 7M long and 2.5M wide with a centre cockpit she makes an ideal pocket cruiser with the added benefit of being able to be trailer sailed if you wish to. Two single berths or one double berth in the main cabin with two singles in the aft cabin and a large centre cockpit make for a lot of boat in a compact package which is able to be towed The self-tacking jib and factional main also makes for easy sail handling too, ideal for single-handing (as I did) and with a lifting keel, you can go places many other cannot. At her age the boat does have the only to be expected cosmetics, a few gel chips and repairs, etc. but is in good condition for her age. The outboard has had very little use and was serviced last August and been been stored in a garage with the engine turned over since the service. The boat was taken out of the water from Bangor Marina in October and has since been stored out of the water at Newtownards Sailing Club. Unfortunately I haven’t had the time to sail the boat over the last year. A new mooring was laid in Newtownards Sailing Club in June . Mooring components: train wheel, 6 metres steamer chain, 11 meters galvanised riser chain. We have owned this boat for 5 years and had great fun in her but failing knees mean that we didn’t use her last year so, regrettably, she has to be sold. Shown in picture ghosting up to the Yacht Club slipway one evening after an enjoyable day. She has been used for family and solo sailing, not raced other than in the occasional fun regatta. She has a nice stable intermediate design: exiting but not too extreme. The PE3 hull construction is durable and needs zero maintenance other washing down after a sail. There are two useful screw-down dry hatches in which you can put your lunch, car keys etc ready for a break. She is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches on hull or topsides and comes complete with:- Galvanised road trailer + lighting board with easy piggyback launching trolley. Original RS cover which allows for the boat to be stored mast up or down. Mylar slab reefing, battened Main with roller furling Jib. Sail area 12.2m2 All blocks, sheaves, running and standing rigging in sound condition.
