Finally parting ways with my Ohm 64 midi controller as part of a studio clear out! Unfortunately it does not see the love it deserves and has been sat in its case for the past few years. Livid Instruments Ohm 64 open source MIDI controller This is the first of the major midi controllers from the fantastic Texas based boutique controller company Livid Instruments, now out of production and a pretty hard to find bit of kit. The controller is completely open source, and can be programmed with a very simple program downloadable from the Livid Instruments site. Fantastic for bi-directional control of Ableton Live, Max MSP, Reaktor, Traktor and VJ software. The Livid Instruments Ohm64 is an adaptable, programmable, and interactive MIDI control surface designed to give you hands-on control over your performance. High-quality sliders, knobs and buttons provide the interface for creative expression, whether you're mixing samples and synths or DJing a cutting-edge set. The first USB powered MIDI controller keyboard from Roland. This is ~20 years old, has been kept in a non-smoking house, and has some yellowing on the keys from sunshine.
