We've had him since he left his mum and he's been brought up with our 2 year old daughter. He's really good with other dogs when we've taken him out on walks. This hasn't really bothered us as he's good for us and so so gentle with our daughter and other small children when they've been round and on an evening he likes nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa with me or my partner. He's Also crate trained, he didn't really settle in a bed where he could roam free as he was up all night being mischievous as a young pup so we crate trained him within his 2nd week home and since then never had a problem. Friendly, active JRT x Manchester terrier for sale

It's been a very hard decision to make but for her sake it's the right one. 7 month old female Manchester terrier for adoption to loving home. We got her at 3 months old and she was advertised as a jack Russell, although now we're pretty sure she's a Manchester terrier. She came from a farm in the middle of nowhere, where there wasn't even dirt tracks as roads. She's without doubt the friendliest dog I've ever seen and extremely loyal. She's very gentle with our 6 year old daughter and adores other dogs. She tries to jump and lick everyone she sees and drops her ball at the feet of every dog on walks. she doesn't have a problem with being left all day while we're both out working (I've got pet cams and regularly keep an eye on her) and now she's older, is non-destructive. She's fully housetrained and will bark and tap on the patio doors to go out. The reason we can't keep her is her speed and activity levels. Despite walks (a couple of times a week), full run of the garden (when it's not raining) and trips to the beach at weekends, she still has an unbelievable amount of energy. Her speed in particular is quite a sight to see and I think she would be most suited to someone who enjoys dog agility or lives somewhere with vast amounts of spaces to roam or has the time to go on more walks than we do. She loves a cuddle on the couch at the moment sleeps at the bottom of the bed. She alerts us to any strange noises and really is just a lovely girl. Read More
