GREAT LITTLE FISHING, SKI BOAT WITH TRAILER AND FISHFINDER

If you go on youtube and look at the video Bonwitco 375 Cornwall, you can see her running today. (27/8) Work transfer means me having to sell my beloved Bonwitco metres) fish and skiing boat. I use it for fishing up the rivers and inshore (been out about 5 miles) off the Cornish coast. She has enough power to also pull a skier along, although it isn't something I have done. She is so easy to launch and comes with a fully galvanised trailer that has had new bearings and comes with a tow board. If you just want a cool looking small boat to cruise around in this is perfect. If you want to fish, she is very stable, I often stand up in her whilst fishing and have landed some large fish without any problems. Boat Length 3.75 meters. Beam 1.62. Draft 15cm (unladen) She has a steering wheel and comfortable driving position with a screen to take the breeze above your eyeline. I have also fitted a couple of rod holders either side of the back bench. Carburretors cleaned and retuned two months ago. You really just need to launch, turn they key and away she goes. The engine is a Mariner Oil injected 30hp 2 stroke and runs fine, after each use I put the freshwater muffs on her and flush her through. At the beginning of the year the carburetors were cleaned out and the timing adjusted to facilitate good idle turnover. She has a bracket for an auxiliary on the back (as shown) and I did have a small 5hp on there but never used it so took it off to place on a small tender I had, so the one you see in the first picture with the aux on does NOT have the auxiliary for sale. The hull has some small scratches but has never been anti fouled and is sound. She has a driver seat in the front plus a bench seat, in the back is another bench seat. I had had six small adults in her but only for a spin up the river, four people is probably more suitable for comfort. The fishfinder is a Lowrance X67C (with original box) and picks up all fish, in colour, up to about 600feet!!, so fish are easy to locate and all features of the seabed are clearly visible. I can't emphasis enough how this is boating made easy, she is such fun. I am also including: Galvanised anchor One fender Various Ropes Fuel tank Lowrance Fish Finder X67c with transducer (fitted) Tow board with cable Engine muffs. Cover The only minus is that the previous owner cut out a hole to secure the auxiliary bracket (pictured) but it may be best just to cut out some stylofoam to fit and this will keep out the rain, it in no way impacts upon safety or performance. The trailer is very sound and has roll on tilting rollers for ease of launch and recovery. You may need a new jockey wheel (cost about £20) at the front as the one on it seems to keep slipping out of its axle but once again this has no impact on launching. I tow the boat with a small Nissan (1.4) with no problems as it is very light. She is listed elsewhere and I have priced her to sell, the trailer only is worth over £500 and in much demand, the fish finder over £150, so please no time wasters. Fairly new Mariner 4hp two stroke motor, very good runner, service annually, resent new fuel filter, impeller, spark plug cap, always run on the best oil, will be able to see running on viewing. Extras include 2x seat cushions, throttle extension bar, anchor, and umbrellas. Good quality galvanized trailer, all road worthy and drives very well, also comes with the number board seen in photos. I have fitted two new light clusters to the board and fully tested all the lights and all is working as they should be. Spinnaker Very Little Used, Ex Cond, Suit 32' to 35' Boat.

Although this sail dates from , it has spent nearly all its life in its bag. My father never used it, and since the boat has been mine over the last twenty years, it has been used less than ten times, and then only for short periods in the very occasional club race. The photo shows the finish of a club race twelve years ago, the mast is 40ft. The snuffer is now being used for our cruising shute, which will get a lot more use, so is not for sale. I see there are suitable snuffers (squeezers) for sale at around £150, about £100 less than new price. When I was taking the photos, I was struck by how good it looks as there are no signs of wear and tear, only a little surface corrosion on the bronze head swivel and eyelets; all the stitching seems to be fine. It is also very clean. Viewing is welcome on Hayling Island. The dimensions are: each leech 11.4m, (37.5 ft) x Foot 6.7m (22 ft). Using the formula leech x foot x 66%, the area is approximately 50.4 sq m (about 500 sq ft). It comes with its own, very capacious bag. I have just looked at second hand prices, and on two sites there are similar sized spinnakers, but one 'fair' and one 'poor' at £340 and £285 respectively, so am asking £350 ono for this one.
