A pair of 50 wpc Linn Kan Mk IV Bookshelf Speakers with Soundstyle Z2 Speaker Stands included.  These Hi-Fi Speakers by respected high end manufacturer Linn Products have achieved Hi-Fi classic status. Their design was based on the performance features of the legendary BBC LS3/5A Studio Monitors. They give a truly gorgeous and dynamic sound when paired with decent quality components. Each Speaker is cm 30H x 19W x 20D.  Stands are cm 60 to speaker platform. These are in excellent condition. Buyer to arrange collection.

Cyrus Tuner & Amp (Vintage ) Unmarked and located in Ercol HI Fi Cabinet these last 20 years and unused and un abused during that time. For those quiet moments when you can ramp up the amp ! Go on spoil yourself ! Quite beautiful,understated and iconic Cyrus Duo and revered in the Audiophile world - £ including Linn Index Speakers - Stands Inc - Linn Index. (Black Ash Cabinet Linn Speakers on optional immaculate stands) *From excerpt of tests circa * Conclusion - Linn Index Not as fast or dramatic as one has come to expect from Linn loudspeakers,nevertheless make very nice music together, delivering generally good resolution and clarity throughout the frequency band, including the bass region where most speakers of this size and price run into trouble. The package is sonically very competitive, aesthetically way ahead of the pack, and good engineering and material value too. Which leaves me no alternative but to hang a Best Buy hat on the corner of the review, adding just the caveat that my drive system uses several Linn components which might have given Index II a bit of a head start. *In my case the drive system being sold here is the Cyrus Duo. The speakers are Linn Kaber LS 500s (s/n and ) that have been converted by Linn to become Kaber Aktiv Speakers to be used in conjunction with the Linn Aktiv Crossover box (s/n ) and require three amplifiers for use in the Aktiv mode. They are finished in rosenut and are in excellent condition with the odd minor mark. There is a handbook for the speakers but not for the crossover box (unusually for Linn one was not supplied) but the box really doesn't need any specialist setting up. The connections are self explanatory to anyone familiar with hi-fi. The signal in from the pre-amp is right and left and the signals out are split into high, mid and bass frequencies. The output sockets are clearly labelled on the rear panel (leads from crossover box to LK280s supplied). Mains lead is included. The crossover box is matt black and is fitted with a set of Linn Aktiv Kaber cards (s/n and ). The LK280s (s/n and ) are in very good condition - no marks on the fronts but some scratches and feet marks on the tops that can't been seen when stacked. The fronts are flat black.
