Lineaffe 14ft Blackcaster Multigraphite 420 Beachcaster. Only two years old. This is a very nice rod, but the lower reel seat screw grip has split and also broken along the top edge. I have tried to repair this, but without any luck. I even made a new, deeper metal top edge grip band (see original thin and new, deeper band in the last photo). The trouble is the plastic screw grip is split top to bottom (I tried melting it together, hence the bit of a mess!) and the top edge is also broken.
