The early pieces, such as this rug, have a continuous connection of ornaments in the vertical direction, such as a pendulum of a clock - which explains the name. Restored. The edges on the left and right have been newly festooned. The ends had some worn knotting, this was fixed on the right side with a lockstitch. A protective band was sued over it onto the back. The black and brown wool has corroded a bit, it has become a bit more brittle and it is lower than the surrounding wool. The last 4 photos show the back.
