British Shorthair Lilac Female

After much thought, I have reluctantly made the very hard decision to rehome my GCCF registered pedigree British Shorthair lilac girl. She is super friendly and loves to be brushed and fussed over. She is a very confident girl who has just turned 2 years old. She would be best suited to a home with no other cats, hasn't been around dogs (but could get used to them) and is used to children. Due to her confident nature she has started to pick on my other cats and despite a long period of time trying, they have no life where she is. When they are running around playing, they are constantly looking to see where she is. You can be sure she will pop up and give them a 'swipe'. Her only downfall is that she does not like to be in a pet carrier, I think it's the enclosed space and not being able to see fully. Ultimately I have to do what is best for her and my other cats. British Shorthair are a very laid back breed of cat who are best suited to an indoor lifestyle. They are not very streetwise and could only go out into an enclosed garden or supervised area. They are classed as 'low allergen' and are therefore ideally suited to individuals who have pet allergies which are not too severe. They don't require much grooming - just a brush now and again - some have even been known to like being hoovered! They are the ideal cat for anyone who works as they are quite happy to laze around the house while you work all day earning pennies for their food and treats! British Shorthair are a loyal breed and are ideal for anyone from a young child to a 'more mature' household. My daughter used to carry her around cradled like a baby. This popular breed of cat has been frequently seen on TV - McVities Digestive adverts, Coronation Street, Vodaphone, Sheba cat food, pet plan and more.
