The Lichfield Cathedral 8 tent is a huge family or group tent that will sleep eight people in comfort. The Cathedral has a unique design featuring the Lichfield Tied Arch System - fibreglass poles that extend off the main steel upright poles to form the bedrooms and the voluminous living area. With only two upright poles, the Cathedral is also very quick to erect (20 minutes us the estimated time) and also easy to take down. The bedroom areas are situated at each end of the tent. At one end there's 2 x 2-berth inners both of which can be removed to create more living space if required. When both inners have been removed there is a large end doorway that can be used to provide an extra entrance option. At the other end of the tent is a 4-berth inner with a divider curtain to turn it into 2 x 2-berth. You enter the large 3.1x3.1m living area via 2 'teardrop' side doors. The living space is more than enough for tables and chairs plus storage units. 8 person tent Gelert Beyond Meridian 8 *** With Extras ***, For sale is our much loved 8 man tent, with external porch which we are reluctantly selling as we now are looking to downsize to a smaller tent. This tent is a wonderfully spacious family tent that sleeps up to 8 adults, it has a fully sewn in ground sheet it has 2 sleep pods, 1 at each end which can be separated into 2 compartments making 4 doubles in total. The central living space is very roomy with 2 doors and 2 windows with integral fly screens. We are selling the tent with a fully enclosed porch which greatly expands the living space and we have used it as a kitchen / dining area as seen in the pictures. The tent is so easy to put up, we have only used it 5 times for our annual holiday. We have camped in all weather's and can honestly say this tent has coped very well with excessive rain and wind and it is very stable. However 2 x Guy ropes anchors were torn off in High winds a couple of years ago but does not affect the stability of the tent and can be properly repaired if needed (parts kept) but we didn't think it necessary, also, small patch on inner floor where the inner pod attaches has already been repaired with glue and Gaffa tape. All is however fully water tight and has never given any issues. It has been sprayed each year with Scotch Guard to help its protection from the elements We are including the following extras with the tent so grab yourself a complete bargain!!!! Icarus 500 Tent with Extras, used once.

Bought in May and used once in July . Fantastic tent, we loved it but age told us to get a motorhome! It has a footprint to be pitched on, so no wet bottom of the tent and it does have a carpet, although the silica gel sachet that was in the bag when we bought it, got wet and made mark on it - about 20 cms round. If washed or treated it would probably disappear. Whole lot cost £275 but happy to accept £125 ono. Also have a camp kitchen, used once, available for purchase and an old camping gaz stove - its old, but it works, its clean and it has a grill! £25 for the camp kitchen and stove.
