The zoom works easily and is reasonably fast, extension-wise. The camera has a little green light to tell you when it's in focus and ready to take the shot. Special Modes: "Fill In Flash" makes the flash fire in daylight. "Infinity" or "Landscape" mode (mountain pictogram on LCD) sets the focus to infinity and turns the flash off. Great for those daytime scenery shots. "Night Scene Flash" mode (moon-star pictogram on LCD) uses shutter speeds as slow as 4 seconds but will also use the flash. I have not used this mode, because my test sample has the zoom barrel light leak (see below). If I get a better copy of this camera, I'll let you know how it goes. This Sony Handycam is as good as new. It's been well looked after and only has a few very light scuffs on it.  I have also downloaded the user manual to go with this as it never had one. Inside the manual I have taken the time out to show you how to convert the language to English (It's easy on page 16) as the handycam is a Chinese version. If the battery runs out, the system reverts back to the Chinese language. It has also got a 32GB SD card, Camera bag & charger cables supplied with it too. With all that being said, it is still a very good small and compact handycam and I have seen it being sold for £170 and more with no SD card, Camera bag or leads. You will need a adapter plug for the battery charger but they can be bought for £1 in most places now. This item is ready and waiting to be posted as soon as possible, once bought.
